EAS Election Results

Dear Members,
The EAS election this year has had a record number of voters. The results have been electronically tabulated and verified by Professor Anders Olsson . The election numbers will be posted in the members section of the EAS website . The new EAS President-Elect is Professor John Chapman and the new executive committee member is Professor Rudolf Zechner. Both of these men are longstanding EAS members and will truly add experience and wisdom to our leadership team. Their terms will start on January 1st 2008. Anyone interested in running for executive committee positions in future elections should contact the EAS office or Anton Stalenhoef, election committee chairman . The more member involvement we have, the better the society can fulfill your needs.
